Duduk: Sound of the Armenian Soul

Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Armenian music at a concert dedicated to the iconic symbol of Armenian culture-the duduk.

This unique concert celebrates the rich heritage and versatility of the duduk across folk, classical, and jazz genres. It will feature renowned duduk masters, emerging talents from the Los Angeles duduk community, and acclaimed vocalists and musicians from various genres.

The concert will include a folk instruments ensemble, a string quartet, poetry, and immersive visual storytelling. These powerful visuals will take you on a journey through time, illustrating the history and evolution of the duduk, from the reign of King Tigran the Great to the present day, highlighting its enduring legacy in Armenian culture.

On November 13th, embark on a multi-sensory experience led and produced by duduk master Emmanuel Hovhannisyan and Dudukman Production, in collaboration with the producers of the Komitas Hour concert - the Armenian Kids Festival.
